Ultra Isopod Habitat Kit (Rottwood and Flake)
$44.99
Start strong from day one. This kit pairs decomposing rottwood with a fine flake substrate blend, giving a new isopod colony the texture, moisture retention, and microfauna food source it needs to settle in fast. It takes the guesswork out of building a first enclosure.
Rottwood breaks down slowly, feeding your colony and holding humidity in pockets throughout the substrate, while the flake layer keeps the surface workable and easy to spot clean. Just add your isopods and a water source and you are ready to go.
- Rottwood and flake substrate blend in one kit
- Built to hold moisture and feed your colony
- Simplifies setting up a first enclosure
- Works with most isopod species and enclosure sizes
