What does Isopod King specialize in?
Isopod King focuses on live isopods, springtails, bioactive systems, and practical keeper supplies.

Where do you ship?
We ship eligible products within the contiguous United States. We do not ship live animals to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or locations where a species is restricted. Product availability and shipping options are shown during checkout. See our Shipping Policy for details.

When will my live order ship?
Timing depends on the species, current weather, and carrier conditions. We may hold a live shipment when conditions could put the animals at risk.

How can I check my order status or tracking?
Check your order confirmation and any shipping emails for order details and tracking links when available. You can also sign in to your customer account. If you cannot find an update or need help with an order, send us a message with your order number and the email address used at checkout.

What should I do when my order arrives?
For home delivery, bring your package indoors within one hour of carrier-recorded delivery. Collect Hold for Pickup packages the same day they become available. Open the package carefully and follow the care information included with your order. Allow live cultures time to settle after transit.

What if there is a problem with a live arrival?
Report a live-arrival problem within one hour of carrier-recorded delivery or pickup. Email support@isopodking.com with your order number, clear photos of the affected animals and all packaging, and a brief description. Keep the animals, products, box, and packaging until the claim is resolved. The contact form does not accept photo attachments; send photos by email. Eligibility and resolutions follow our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.

Which isopods are best for beginners?
Look for active, resilient species that match your enclosure's moisture and temperature range. Our care information identifies experience level where verified data is available.

Can I use isopods and springtails together?
Yes. They often perform complementary roles in a bioactive enclosure, provided the habitat, moisture gradient, leaf litter, and food are suitable for both cultures.

What do the count, size, and quantity options mean?
Choose the exact option on the product page before adding it to your cart. A label such as “10 Count” states the number of animals in that pack; cart quantity is the number of packs you order. A size label by itself does not confirm the number of animals included. If the pack count, sex, life stage, or measurement you need is not stated, ask us before ordering.

Where can I find care instructions?
Visit the Isopod Care Sheets directory for species guides, or explore the Care Archives for habitat, feeding, and colony guidance. Isopod product pages also link to their care sheets where available.

How do I find the right animal category?
Browse live isopods, feeders, or Exotic Animals. For tarantulas, spiders, and scorpions, start with Arachnids and choose a group. You can also view all collections or use the search icon to find a species by name.
