Armadillidium klugii Dubrovnik isopods carry bold red spotting over a dark body, part of the wider group of clown Armadillidium morphs collected from the Balkans and Croatia region. They roll into a tight, marble-like ball when disturbed, a signature Armadillidium trait.
Give them moderate moisture with plenty of calcium available, holding around 65 to 78F and 50 to 70% humidity. Adults reach 15 to 20mm, and their contrasting color makes them one of the more rewarding intermediate species to display once your basics are dialed in.
