Island texture with real edge. Porcellio sp. "Spiky Canare" isopods come from the Canary Islands and carry a rough, spiky texture across their armor that gives them a distinctly rugged look among Porcellio species.
This species needs a very high calcium supply and does best with lower humidity than tropical isopods require. It is a good fit for keepers who already have experience with dry-leaning, advanced Porcellio species.
