A friendlier way into Cubaris. Cubaris murina Papaya isopods show a warm orange-pink blush across a classic rounded Cubaris body. Native to Southeast Asia, this murina morph is more forgiving than many Cubaris, making it a solid choice even for Keepers newer to the genus.

Keep them moist with moderate calcium available, comfortable around 72 to 80F and 70 to 90% humidity. Adults reach 10 to 15mm, and their warm coloring makes a colony easy to spot working across the substrate.

  • Warm orange-pink Papaya coloring
  • Beginner-friendly for the Cubaris genus
  • Comfortable in a warm, humid tropical setup
  • Easy to spot and enjoy in a display enclosure
