CARE AT A GLANCE

Keeper level:
beginner
Adult size:
10 to 15 mm
Climate:
Tropical

An easy way into the Cubaris world. Cubaris murina Little Sea isopods bring a soft, cool blue-grey tone to the classic Cubaris look, without the fussier care some morphs in this genus demand. Native to Southeast Asia, they're considered one of the more forgiving Cubaris available, which makes them a natural next step after a beginner species.

Keep them moist with moderate calcium available, holding around 72 to 80F and 70 to 90% humidity. Adults reach about 10 to 15mm, rolling into a tight ball when startled and slowly building a visible colony across your enclosure floor.

  • Hardy, beginner-friendly Cubaris morph
  • Soft blue-grey coloring that stands out in a display
  • Comfortable in a warm, humid tropical setup
  • A great first step into keeping Cubaris

Covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee.
