Species and appearance
Mezium affine, the Shiny Spider Beetle, is a small beetle with a rounded, shiny brown to reddish-brown abdomen and paler legs and antennae. Surface reflections can change its appearance in photographs; blue and purple breeding colors are not confirmed for this stock.
