Lucihormetica grossei — the Mega Glowspot Roach — is the crown jewel of the Lucihormetica genus and arguably the most impressive bioluminescent roach available in the hobby. Everything that makes the Glowspot roaches extraordinary is dialed up here: larger body size, bolder presence, and the same stunning bioluminescent pronotal spots that have made this genus legendary among serious collectors. If you're going to keep one Lucihormetica, make it this one.

Like its genus-mates, L. grossei produces glowing spots that mimic the warning bioluminescence of toxic click beetles — a textbook example of Batesian mimicry and one of the most remarkable defensive strategies found in any cockroach. The "Mega" in the common name is not marketing hyperbole — this species is genuinely larger and more substantial than others in the genus, making it a standout even in a collection that already includes L. verrucosa and L. subcincta.

Rare, sought-after, and visually spectacular, L. grossei is a species that commands attention and holds value in any serious invertebrate collection. This is a long-term keeper for dedicated hobbyists who want the best the genus has to offer.
